Lean Project Leader (m/f/d)

AKG Thermal Systems (Taicang) Co., Ltd is a 100% subsidiary of the German AKG Group and has been successful in China for more than 20 years. With a strong in-house engineering team, we offer cooling solutions to local and Global Key Accounts. Tasks and Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with top management, promote the Lean culture and develop an implementation action plan for Lean.
  • Kaizen projects planning, prioritization, Kaizen project management as a PM Officer.
  • Conducting benchmarking with leading plants and transferring best practices to AKG Taicang.
  • Training of Lean Tools (e.g. Value Stream Mapping, One piece Flow, Standard work, Daily management, Visual management, problem solving process, PokaYoke, TPM, Lean Supply Chain, SMED, ERP improvement) to the managers, supervisors and group leaders.
  • Development and implementation of talent development programs, as well as support and training of MBBs in various Lean methodologies.
  • Lead cross functional key projects to drive the operational KPI SQDCP in regards of various projects (E.G. process improvement, productivity in welding, assembly, machining and other production areas, quality, safety).
  • Responsibility for the manufacturing engineering of machining processes.
     

     

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above
    • More than 10 years of professional experience in the manufacturing industry and 5 years in CI or Lean projects.
    • Knowledge in production, supply chain, MRP, and quality, as well as extensive experience in cross-functional departments, is a plus.
    • Knowledge with the common lean production related tools and methods
    • Focus on Lean principles and results-driven work.
    • Team spirit and excellent communication ability
       

Direct reporting to the Deputy General Manager Operations.
